What is payroll service?

Payrolling is a special form of providing staff in the Netherlands. The payroll company is the employer of the payroll employees, but they work for you. The payroll company is the lender and you are the hirer or client. You recruit your own staff, set the salary, and have control over the employee. The payroll employer assumes all employer expenses and relieves you. Among other things, the payroll company takes care of payroll and salary payments, employment contracts, and pension accrual.
The process of payrolling typically involves three parties: the employer, the employee, and the payroll provider. The employer enters into a contract with the payroll provider, who then becomes responsible for paying the employee’s salary, taxes, and social security contributions. The employee remains under the supervision of the employer, but is technically employed by the payroll provider.
