Sinotrans Air Transportation is a subsidiary of the Sinotrans group – where today, we are globally active in more than 60 countries providing our customers and business partners Freight Forwarding and End-to-End Supply Chain solutions, solving logistics complexity reliable with experience and expertise.

For our office in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for a full-time Sales Representative.



Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute daily inquiries (Air/Ocean/Rail)
  • Follow-up on existing leads
  • Set up outbound mailing & calling campaigns
  • Initiate and conduct qualifying meetings with prospects
  • Identify clients’ needs and provide logistics solutions to set-up or improve supply chain operations
  • Based on clients commercial and service requirements, negotiate and contract with partners and suppliers
  • Plan and implement SOPs with clients and internal departments for operational hand-over
  • Identify and approach new leads/prospects
  • Organize and provide sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Monthly sales reporting to the manager


Job Requirements
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding sales/operations is preferred
  • Commercial driven, creative and problem solving
  • Able to work under pressure, with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese. Dutch would be a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
