Position Description
  • The Logistics Specialist is part of the business operations department and will provide an enhanced level of customer services and operational support. Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist will deal with shipment specifics and other service related issues.
  • Based at: Hexing Europe head office
  • Goals:Create harmony high motivation and a can do mentality within the logistic department and between the operations department and other departments of Hexing Europe and China



Job Responsibilities
  • Take care of the inbound and outbound activities for EMEA region
  • Place purchase orders and stock orders within the set guidelines based on ERP system
  • Monitor and report the reliability of logistic vender
  • Ensure monitoring of open purchase and sales orders
  • Signal and communicate deviations in purchase orders
  • Set up improvement structure in the performance of the suppliers
  • Coordinate sales forecasts based on data from sales / identified deviations
  • Ensure good and regular cooperation with the Sales department regarding the logistic planning
  • Monitor and ensure the correct settings of order parameters (e.g. customer delivery details)
  • Generate necessary operational and commercial reports



Day-to-Day Duties
  • Input and monitor ERP system
  • Find more efficient ways to move or store goods
  • Monitor warehouse and storage functionality while products are stored
  • Take care of the inventory
     
     
     
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Planning and Inventory Management or Logistics or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years experience on comparable operational Supply Chain Level
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Dutch or other European language is a plus
  • Skilled user skills with including MS Office, experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to operate within an international, complex business environment
