Job Description

1. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system;
2. Track and trace of all air Import files and report the status/updates internally and to the customers;
3. To transpose customs declaration information from documents, and or other data sources, into the customs brokerage system accurately;
4. Consistently work on maintaining good understanding, communication and relationship with our customers, trucking companies and others;
5. Fully understand and execute the air import process and be proactive involved in looking for best practices to improve the operational process to be more effective, efficient and productive;
6. Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
7. To manage and meet required internal and external KPI’s;
8. Responsibility for costing jobs and ensuring maximum profitability for the organization;
9. Ability to manage deadlines and sometimes difficult situations, therefore an element of negotiation and flexibility is required in order to be able to meet timescales.

 



Job Requirement

1. 1-3 years working experience in logistics;
2. Up-to-date knowledge of Office package (Outlook, Word and Excel);
3. Good command of English and Dutch speaking will be a plus;
4. Stress resistant;
5. Proactive (work) mentality;
6. Customer and service-oriented mindset.
