Cyber Security Engineer

Our client company is looking for an enthusiastic Cyber Security Engineer to join the team based in the Netherlands starting as soon as possible. This person would work on-site in Hoofddorp but as long as they can get to the office I am fine with a flexible hybrid work model.

Technical Skills:

1. Understand networking basics.
2. Understand Linux, especially embedded Linux for IoT devices.
3. Understand vulnerabilities (scanning, patching, managing, and PoC).
4. Great to have network security and monitoring skills or know how to use tools like WireShark and vulnerability scanners.
5. Great to know industry standards and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Able to coordinate between users/customers and developers.
2. Able to troubleshoot and understand customer issues and to provide solutions.
3. Able to work with other departments (Tech Support, PR, Marketing, Product Management, Legal, etc.).
4. English language is required, and Chinese language skills are a plus but not required.
