Key Account Manager, Tilburg
Reports To
This position will report to the General Manager directly.
Job Overview
The core duties of the Key Account Manager are to support and execute services provided to key accounts on daily basis, and grow the business with key account as well as develop new products, services and lines of businesses to increase and sustain that growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs. Handle inquiries, create and improve service proposals for assigned key accounts.
2. Build and strengthen client relationship to achieve long-term partnership, explore and pursue business opportunities from daily interaction with the clients.
3. Supervise and execute agreed SOPs and facilitate the necessary improvements or changes to the existing service or process.
4. Be the expert who answers all customer´s queries, handles compliments/complaints, implements new business and executes financial & operational analyses in order to continuously improve.
5. Develop carrier/vendor resources and maintain strong partnership with vendors in order to secure service quality and profitability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management or related field.
2. 3+ years’ experience working in logistics industry, and account management position.
3. Excellent Chinese and English written and verbal communication skills, Dutch is a plus.
4. Great teamwork and communication skills, attend to details.
5. The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
