Position Description
The position entails all-round financial accounting and control, liaising with external partners (tax consultants and auditors) and internal stakeholders (account management team) as well as communicating with the global HQ finance teams based in China.
We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, strong knowledge of the local Dutch reporting standards, the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, and being the ability to advise the business.
Job Responsibilities
● General accounting, including reviewing supplier invoices and expense claims, preparing full set of accounts according to the Dutch reporting standards
● Liaise with external tax agency and check the tax filings
● Issue sales invoices according to the operations request and keep track of the accounts receivables, remind the sales team of any overdue billings.
● Coordination with external auditors to generate yearly audited financial statement
● Prepare weekly sales report and any other ado reports requested by the HQ finance
Job Requirements
● Fluency in English, both speaking and writing and Chinese could be a plus
● Strong knowledge of Dutch Accounting Standards and local tax regulations
● A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar
● 3+ years of work experience
● Experience in an international environment/logistics industry is strongly preferred
● Accurate and analytical
● Good communication and social skills
● Ability to adjust to different cultures
● Pro-active and flexible
