For our office in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Agent - Airfreight.
Job Responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact between our subsidiaries, carriers and our overseas/local partners and clients. Managing Import and Export shipments from A to Z and carry the responsibility in designing, planning and orchestrating shipping processes in a (cost) efficient and effective way.
Coordinate and manage Import/Export shipments by bridging, liaison between suppliers, partners and clients
Take care of required import and export documentations accurately
Process bookings with transporters and airlines
Issue and process Airway Bills
Follow-up and inform customers of booking and shipping statuses
Solve logistics complexity during import/export process
- 1-2 years experience in airfreight import/export, Logistics and/or International Trade
- Excellent in written and spoken English. Dutch/German/Mandarin Chinese would be a plus
- Commercial driven and client oriented with close attention to details
- Proactive with strong organization and communication skills
- Able to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to work in a fast-moving business industry
- Willing to learn and open for new challenges
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- IATA and/or ADR DG Certification is preferred
