For our office in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Agent - Airfreight.



Job Responsibilities

You will be the first point of contact between our subsidiaries, carriers and our overseas/local partners and clients. Managing Import and Export shipments from A to Z and carry the responsibility in designing, planning and orchestrating shipping processes in a (cost) efficient and effective way.  

  • Coordinate and manage Import/Export shipments by bridging, liaison between suppliers, partners and clients

  • Take care of required import and export documentations accurately

  • Process bookings with transporters and airlines

  • Issue and process Airway Bills

  • Follow-up and inform customers of booking and shipping statuses

  • Solve logistics complexity during import/export process



Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience in airfreight import/export, Logistics and/or International Trade
  • Excellent in written and spoken English. Dutch/German/Mandarin Chinese would be a plus
  • Commercial driven and client oriented with close attention to details
  • Proactive with strong organization and communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Able to work in a fast-moving business industry
  • Willing to learn and open for new challenges
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • IATA and/or ADR DG Certification is preferred
